This is me before I discovered my car wouldn't start. Look how happy I was then.

But really, even though I'm currently car-less, today was a good day. I was greeted by spring temperatures when I left the house this morning, had no trouble finding parking, pet some stray dogs that wandered into my yard while I waited for the tow truck (I would have sought out their owners, but they ran off into the woods before I could do much about it), and read my book in the outdoor seating area of a local Starbucks while waiting for the verdict on my car (unfortunately, there's still no verdict, but the mechanic gave me a ride home!).

Ethical choices are bolded below. Retailers taking steps to become more ethical are bolded in gray.

  • Top - made in USA

  • Dress - vintage

  • Leggings - Old Navy

  • Shoes - Keds (old)

  • Jacket - Gap

*I realized recently that I need to get to the bottom of Gap Inc.'s production practices before I continue to buy from them. Though they're part of the Ethical Trading Initiative, they seem to keep getting into trouble. They'll be marked in gray until I gather more facts.
