Easter is just around the corner!
Each year when we were young, my grandmother would take my sister and me out to hunt for the perfect Easter dresses. We used to dress to the nines back then, donning woven straw Easter hats, tights, and little buckled shoes. I anticipated those special excursions with my grandma, particularly because I knew she didn't have the income to splurge on shopping trips for her grandchildren more than once a year. It was something she carefully budgeted for, and I appreciated her generosity all the more for it.Easter is a celebration of self sacrifice, hope, and redemption, so it only makes sense that any purchases we make surrounding the holiday should center around ethics. Here are some of my favorite places to buy ethical spring dresses for adults and kids. All items are fair trade, and about half use eco-friendly textiles.
