Everlane Review: Wide Leg Crop Pant

everlane wide leg crop pant review

I mean, look at 'em. They're pretty perfect.

The Everlane Wide Leg Crop Pants fit perfectly out of the package. No adjustments needed. I don't have much else to say on that front other than that I'm still in shock they worked out so well. I already have a pair of wide leg crops courtesy of the thrift store, but they're such a comfy and flattering fit (well, besides the fact that my butt looks huge) that I thought I'd use some Everlane  store credit* to purchase this pair.

Before I purchased, I read Grechen's and Andrea's reviews, as well as the reviews on the product page. Most people advised sizing down from what the size chart indicated. I typically buy for my hips, which can leave the waist feeling a bit loose, but the 4s in these work great, likely because the wide leg silhouette leaves a bit of wiggle room at the widest part of the hip.

The cotton twill fabric is quite heavyweight, which means these hold their bell shape and make me feel more put together than usual. The 1% elastane keeps the cinched waist comfortable even when I'm sitting down. The high set wide pockets are flattering. At $68, these are definitely worth buying.

My Measurements: 28" waist, 38.5" hips, 5'7" height
Size Ordered: 4
Fit: If between sizes, size down
Grade: A+

As I've discussed before, Everlane prides itself on transparent, safe, and ethical production. They could do more to prioritize eco-friendly fabrics and production processes, and the jury's still out on what wage factory employees are paid, but I see them as a really great option for building out an ethical wardrobe. The items are extremely well made, basic, and affordable.

I have a few more Everlane reviews in the works. I use referral credit for most of these purchases, so if you're interested in purchasing something, I'd appreciate if you'd consider clicking through this link to buy. The pants are currently backordered in a lot of sizes, but you can get on the waitlist. I had to wait for the initial restock myself.

P.S. I tried the Day Flat and found the elastic at the back very uncomfortable. I also tried the Micro Rib Cami Dress and found it very unflattering on my pear shaped frame (too small at the hips even in a large)
